Pearson Publishing is looking for an ex-conveyancing paralegal who would like to work flexi-time in the Gauteng area. This will be a sales and account management agency position where you will call on suppliers to the legal firms and also the legal firms in the area to promote our products available from Tech4Law, Jobs4Law, CIPROZA and soon to be Practice Marketer.

You will be an independent consultant to Pearson Publishing, due to the flexible hours and working environment.

The succesful consultant will be the onlt contractor in the Gauteng region.

A vacancy exists in the corporate/commercial department of the firm for an admitted attorney. A package commensurate with experience (and with prospects) is available to a suitable candidate. To commence as arranged. The applicable criteria are: 
·       at least 3 years plus post admission experience in corporate/commercial essential, and ability to work relatively independently in such areas;
·       whilst bilinguality is not essential, he/she must be proficient in written English;
·       proficiency in drafting commercial contracts and corporate documents essential;
·       reasonable knowledge of the Companies Act, Consumer Protection Act, National Credit Act, Income Tax Act;
·       experience in commercial litigation and arbitration.
